New Yorker Electronics is now offering two new families of Side View RGB high-brightness SMD LEDs to Inolux Corporation. Their RoHS and Reach compliant LEDs feature high brightness, low power consumption and long life expectancy. Typical wavelengths are 625/525/464nm, luminous intensity is 35/230/35mcd, and forward voltages are 2, 2.8, 2.8V (R/G/B). The IN-S85TxS5R5G5B LED is a 5V, 25mA tri-color device in a PCB-type form factor in a compact 0805 1.1mm package that offers excellent design versatility.
The full luminous intensity range for bin codes covers red 28.5mcd to 56mcd, green 18mcd to 35mcd and blue 28.5mcd to 56mcd. The forward voltage range for red is between 1.8V and 2.2V, green is between 2.5V and 3.1V, and blue is also between 2.5V and 3.1V. The operating temperature range of the IN-S85TAS5R5G5B and IN-S85TBS5R5G5B is -30C to +85C. And the compact package size is only 2mm x 0.6mm x 1.1mm, with a 120-degree viewing angle.
These LEDs are commonly used in IoT/smart devices, wearables, ambient color effects, decorative lighting - signage, aftermarket automotive lighting, keyboard and display backlighting, networking, communications and server equipment applications.
