EL1528 is a dual channel differential amplifier designed to drive full rate ADSL signals with extremely low power consumption. The high drive capability of 450mA makes the driver suitable for CAP and DMT design. It contains two pairs of broadband, high-voltage, current mode feedback amplifiers, which are optimized for the low power consumption of DSL systems.

These drivers achieve MTPR distortion measurement better than 70dB, and generally consume 5mA of total power supply current for each DSL channel. This power supply current can be set using the resistance on the IADJ pin. The other two pins (C0 and C1) can also be used to adjust the power supply current to one of the four preset modes (full is, 3/4-IS, 1/2-IS, and full power off).

The EL1528 operates on ± 5V to ± 12V power supply and maintains its bandwidth and linearity within the complete power supply range. The equipment provides heat enhanced 20 pin HTSSOP and small footprint (4x5mm) 24 pin QFN package. The operating temperature range specified by EL1528 is - 40 ° C to+85 ° C.
