   C&K produces a versatile sealed tactile switch for a wide variety of consumer, industrial, Internet of Things and portable electronic applications. These applications require a long life and cost-effective price point. The EL tactile switch series incorporates common heights and driving forces and has a longer life cycle than competing products, with a cycle of 200,000 cycles. The IP67's dust and water resistance ratings make the series ideal for harsh applications.

   The range is designed with standard market sizes of 6.2mm x 6.2mm and heights of 3.5mm and 5.2mm, making the switch a 100% pin-to-pin alternative to competing touch switches.

   There are currently four configurations, and designers can choose between 2N and 3.5N driving forces. Soft actuators provide easier integration through pre/post travel. By offering a longer life cycle, the series helps reduce design cycles and outpaces the size and power range of competitors.

   Due to their small size, the touch switches are commonly used in consumer and iot products, including smart meters, smart home appliances/devices and portable electronics. In addition to the consumer market, it is ideal for harsh environments, including industrial electronics and portable medical devices.
