For Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, CUI announced the expansion of its 3000W front-end AC / DC power supply series and the addition of PSE-3000-54. The power supply is preset to output 54VDC, and its factory adjustable output range is 42V to 55V, so this model is also suitable for a wider range of telecommunications and network applications. Key features include N + 1 redundancy and hot-swap docking, which is achieved through the use of a single connector that integrates ac, dc, and I / O signals. The PSE-3000-54 has a power density of 33.48 W / cubic inch, uses a compact standard 1U package, measures only 40.64mm x 101.6mm x 355.6mm, and achieves platinum efficiency (94% at 50% load). The 54VDC main output can provide up to 55.5A and has a shunt current, allowing multiple units to be connected in parallel. The output is floating, with 1500Vrms isolation, and is specifically designed for PoE applications. In order to monitor and control the module, PSE-3000-54 has the function of system communication through I2C / PMBus protocol. For maximum flexibility, the series is available in front-to-back or back-to-front airflow configurations depending on the cooling requirements of the application. In addition, it also provides 3.3VDc or 5VDC standby output at 2A. PSE-3000-54 also provides 60950-1 safety certification, carries the CE mark, and meets all applicable EMC requirements for global applications.
