The I/O devices on the DIN rail PCAN-MicroMod FD DR CANopen Digital 1 from PEAK-System have passed the official Ci (CAN Automation) conformance test for CANopen and CANopen FD. The device firmware is based on EmSA's Micro CANopen Plus protocol stack and is easy to pass compliance testing.
The device was the first industrial off-the-shelf I/O device to provide conformance tested CANopen and CANopen FD interfaces. Configuration is simplified, the four dials are used to set the record on the shell directly. No additional configuration software is required.
Aluminum-encapsulated I/O modules that support analog inputs and outputs, as well as PWM or frequency outputs, and a SoM for integrating custom I/O with CAN/CAN FD, CANopen, and CANopen FD operating modes. Additionally, all other products from the pc-micromod FD line can load the Micro CANopen Plus stack as an option.
CANopen EDS/XDD files can be downloaded for all pc-micromod FD products documenting CANopen or CANopen FD functionality. Additionally, the PCAN-MicroMod FD evaluation board includes a free CANopen FD license.
